Lightbulb What You Think Your Dog Means And You Are Prob. Wrong!--Important to know!

This is very interesting and informative! One of the best articles I've ever read on dog behavior---and it comes from my favorite site to see dog pics--I am always praising this site. It has so many 'parts' to it. Please read this article--It is very long but very good!! And you will note all the other articles you can click on at end of this article.

Small Dogs vs. Medium and Large Dogs - Small Dog Syndrome The link 'words' are a little misleading as it is also telling you how to treat any dog to make their behavior 'right!'

I don't think any of this is ever going to make Buster "right".

Lol! There is always an exception to the rule and Buster would be it! Seriously is he behaving better since you added the Pyrenees? It looks like they enjoy each other in your pics. Of course Buster is getting older and hopefully will be out of the puppy stage---Okay at least physically! Mentally?

He behaved for a while, but now he wants to charge up to strange dogs. He is nice when he gets there, but he scared the crap out of a husky at the dog park the other day. I didn't take him to the dog park today and it was a lot less stress. I was thinking about not taking him back until I get him fixed. Mentally, he is very much a puppy and I don't think he's gonna grow out of it anythime soon. I can hope though. Although most people know the saying "You can hope in one hand and crap in the other...."

Lol, No that is a new saying to me but glad you told it to me! Ah, that Buster--Do you think if he would of been named something like Angel, He would be different! I remember you saying that when you and Ryan both set eyes on him--You both immediately said Buster! :-P

The whole saying is "Wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which one fills first."

I've never heard that saying either. lol

The thing that jumped out at me the MOST in that article is what they say about separation anxiety. I would have NEVER thought about it like that. I'm not sure if I agree..but maybe it is possible from some SA issues; not all cases tho...def FOOD for thought!! Thanks for sharing C/M! ((ANd I love that site too!)
