Hi. I got a rescue dog this July, the dog training is going well, however as we walk to school and we get close, the dog gets a little anxious/crazy I am not sure what it is, but he starts leaping around nipping and grabbing on to my daughters sleeve, pulling on mine too, he use to nip my leg but thankfully has not done that one for a while. He is doing what he can to stop her going to school, we have to separate before we get too close, he yelps, whines and turns in frantic circles. This is the only time he behaves this way otherwise he is most respectful. Any tips on how to handle this?

So if you part sooner, the dog is fine? Strange! I'd try parting sooner and then get closer and closer over the course of several weeks...see how things develop.
