He is the sweetest dog but Im afraid it might be too much with the kids and our current dog. Thoughts? He is with foster parents right now and after 4 weeks can make it about 4 hours in the crate but they say he will probably regress when we get him. Im just not sure if he is the best dog with our busy life. I appreciate any information on the subject!

Seperation anxiety in dogs can be over come however it takes a lot of patience, time and commitment..It is not an easy issue to deal with depending on how severe it is..He will have a lot to adapt to as far as the change in his surroundings and because he's being re-homed yet again it will probably cause the seperation anxiety to worsen a bit..With the busy life you have and having 2 small children as well as another dog a dog with this type of issue may be a bit much to handle.
