Default missing dog

I have an 11 yr old mixed breed who has always been outside and as of thia past wednesday noone has seen him. He was the best dog-- never bothered anyone or anything and always returned after wandering off. It has been almost 5 days since he has been seen. I have raised him since he was 5 weeks old and I am devastated. The only thing I have noticed is that over the last 2 months he has not been as active. Some have told me they will wander off to die when it is their time. I don't want to accept that. Can anyone help me deal with this??

Oh my!!!! I'm sorry. It's hard to except that fact that your best friend is gone or might be. Trust me. I know how it feels. I've never lost a dog where they ran off, but recently I lost my baby girl Eve on Christmas morning (2004) My mother came in and told me that something happend and I knew what she was going to say. I was devestated!!!! She was sick for about a week, and I didn't even know until she stopped eating, drinking, and being active. It really hurts to lose a pet and friend you love. But never ever give up hope. Don't stop looking. And never forget no matter what he's with you wherever you go. If you need to talk, let me know alright?

Sorry, but if you weren't an irresponsible dog owner who let your dog loose without supervision - he wouldn't be missing. This is YOUR fault.
