My dog is a border collie that is 2 years old.I've had him since he was a baby. I spoiled him and he had clothes and i loved him all the time.
He is 2 now and he is afraid of everything, if he hears a noise he runs upstairs. The only thing he doesnt run from is if I'm wrestling with my boyfriend, he does think hes hurting me. So he trys to protect me.. How do I make him not afraid of everything????????? Or is he fine the way he is? Is it my fault, the way I raised him babying him to much??????

hi there,you say your dog is a border collie,large dog,you dont give alot of details.is he in an appartement or does he have space?is he socialised? every when do you take him for walks?I'm not an expert butdogs are usually afraid or get visious when the're not socialised.

I think that its a good thing that your dog protects you! If something really bad happened to you, your dog would protect you. Your dog could grow out of the stuff that he's afraid of, or he might not. My dog is 6 and i still babyish her! :wink: I hope I helped :!:

Lucky is a big dog. He doesnt get vicious or anything. He is socialized and very friendly when people come over. Just very protective if someone tries to get by me. He has space to run in, I live in a big house.. I don't take him for walks because he will end up walking me.
