Breeding my bichon

so im ready to breed my 1 year old bichon who is in heat for the first time will it be ok to do so? if you have any advice please let me know

As a former breeder of Akita's the best advice I can give you is to do a ton of research on the subject.Breeding is not simply putting to dogs together and see what comes out.It involves alot of time,money,vet visits,blood work,etc.
