sue is right...If you have a limited registration that means you don't have permission from the original breeder to use your dog for breeding purposes therefore you would not be able to register any of the puppies your dogs produces with the AKC...A spay/neuter contract is when the original breeder gives you a certain amount of time to have the dog fixed and you don't get the dogs paper work until you have proof that it's been done...it's standard with a limited registration if your dealing with a reputable breeder....However I'm not sure how it works with the pet stores as far as what kind of contract they have you sign...They really don't care what's done with the puppies after their purchased and since they come from puppy mills the breeder is most likely not to concerned about contracts just the money!
