How acurate are x-rays??
I just took my 6lb pom into the vet yesterday for x-rays Because I got her a month ago pregnant she got pregnant at the boarding kennel while her owner was in Virginia visiting family All her dogs where together in the pen including the male so we know who the dad is and she has no problem signing the litter reg.
But the vet says by what he can tell on the x-rays(not my normal vet) they should be here within the week I am fine with that we also counted 6 puppies on that x-ray it was a really clear x-ray and I am not disputing how many it's just I don't know how to tell by a x-ray when they are due From the timeline that the dogs were in the boarding kennel till she came back and I got the dog it would put her due around this time but I guess what I am wondering is shouldn't I have gotten a more definate answer than within the week? I paid enough for this x-ray ($210) I was expecting a bit more info I guess
