 Breeding questions
Hi,
I have a question, maybe someone can HELP!
I have a 1-1/2 year blue pitbull. We are trying to breed her. We noticed she began her heat. She began to swell and bleed. We waited for a while untill her discharge began to get a lighter in color. We took her to the VET. After the exam her VET told us she is ready, we need to breed her right away. That same day, we took her to our breeder, His male locked with twice for 5 and 10 min. It has been a week now and I noticed today she is bleeding heavily again.
My question is, could we have bred her to soon or will she stay in heat after she has been bred?? not sure what to think. I am used to her heat cycles, but this is the first I have bred her.
