hi,
i was just wondering if anyone knows roughly,

1.how old my patterdale should be when she has her first season,

2. i also have a male patterdale, and the problem im having with him is he keeps peeing on my female, when they go outside in a morning he waits till shes peeing then pees directly on her but hes only just started doing it, hes 17 months and our female is 8 months, its only really been the last 2 weeks or so, i have asked this in the beginners forum but thorght ide put it in here to see if anyone has heard of it before, i will try anything to get him out of it,

You may have answered your own question. Your female could be getting into heat now, and by peeing on her, your male dog is marking his territory from other males that may know she is in heat also.
