Hi all... I'm a brand new breeder of Amstaffs, the best dogs in the world! I have a two year old bitch who is on her 10th day of heat today, and the stud dog is scheduled to come over in a few hours. Although I'm a vet tech and animal lover, this will be my first time breeding. I've done so much research and had a mentor, but this will be my bitch's first time as well and we're both a bit rusty... any advice on how to entice my bitch to breed? She seemed interested in the stud yesterday, flagging and everything, but wouldnt let him penetrate. Any suggestions? Thanks!
