Technically this is inbreeding. But to most breeders it would be a line breeding. When breeders use the term inbreeding they're usually referring to two closely related animals; father to daughter, mother to son, brother to sister or half sister.
Both inbreeding and line breeding are done to fix certain desirable traits in the line. But you have to really understand what you're doing, research the good and bad traits in the line, or you could be doubling up on a trait you'd rather not have at all.
Now, before you go any further, have you had both dogs hips certified by OFA? Have you had their eyes tested and certified? Do you know what genetic disorders exist in the breed, and in the lines of your particular animals? Have you had any DNA testing done for those disorders, if those tests exist? Are both dogs sound and healthy?
Do you have a mentor? Someone who has experience breeding and whelping? Do you know what to do if something goes wrong? Because there is a lot that can go wrong.
Honestly, I'm not trying to discourage you from breeding. But you really need to research the issue and learn as much as you can. Breeding a litter involves a lot more than throwing two dogs together and waiting 9 weeks.
