Default Born with a twisted paw

I breed bostons and this is the first time I've encounter this( I've been breeding for 5 yrs. They were born yesterday she is 1 of 6, all other are healthy and she seems that way as well. She moves the foot and there seems to be no pain with it. I've researched a bit and found other animals that this happens to and for the most part all of them say to leave it and when the tendons tighten it'll correct itself. I just want more input from people who have dealt with this before.

What did you vet have to say... you have had the litter seen by your vet already, yes?

Just happened to come upon this in my book while I was just copying for another member in here about what Boston Terriers are prone to: Quote---
(This is one of the things that Boston Terriers can be prone to)

Swimmers Puppies--A developmental condition caused by a weakness of the muscles puppies use to pull their legs together. Newborns are unable to put their feet under them to walk. End of quote.----Gave no other info about it!
But maybe if you put swimmers puppies in your browser, you might find more info on it (if you think this might be what it is)

If you would be interested in what else Boston Terriors are prone to you could check out what I just posted to Smooth23---As of right now she only has 1 posting so would be easy just to go to her profile and click on statistics and all posts by her.

I just put swimmers puppies in my browser and very important (and a lot of web results) info there. I hope this isn't your puppy's problem but if it is you need to look up--could be life-saving. Didn't read all the 'stuff' there, myself but enough to know it is important .

This does NOT appear to be "swimmers" disorder. That's a whole different ball of wax.

It appears to be a birth defect which may or may not correct spontaneously. Sometimes these defects are "positional"; meaning it's caused by the position the puppy's foot was in during gestation. Your vet would be able to confirm this, and suggest whatever treatment, if any, is necessary.
