My French Bulldog, 3 years old mated first time on her 10th 11th and 12th days, brought her home.Next day very bad sickness.
19th day a local farm terrier has got in my house and tied with her, while I was making the fire.

Due to the immediate change in her, sickness, more in her bed, I think she is concieving to the French Bulldog.
I know she could have puppies to both but your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Oh Boy! Well there is nothing you can do but wait and see and DNA test the litter. To list the only positive thing I can see in this situation... it is good it was a terrier and not a much larger dog, your bitch should be safe. HOWEVER... if the terrier is the father of some/all of the puppies there are many unknowns including Brucellosis status, overall health, hips, eyes, etc. I think your first step if you have not done so already is to call the vet (to see why your bitch is sick) and second to tell the owner of the terrier what happened (if you have not already). Please post once you talk to them I am curious to see what they say.

You are both at fault here... you should have been watching your bitch better and they should keep their un-neutered dog undercontrol and in a fenced area!


How long ago did this happen? When is she due?
