This is my first time breeding my english bulldogs. they are registered and in excellent health. This is my first time. The bags are soo uncomfortable to handle and made my male bleed. the blood went into the bag with the semen. Can she get pregnant with this sample? I intended to try again in a couple of days.

thanks.

right well i dont not much about AI, but im 100% sure that the process isnt supposed to make the male bleed... was it from a cut or did it come out with the semen?

do you have the support of a breeder who is involved in your breed? how much research have you done? If you havent got a breeder you can call up at any time to help you or answer any questions i suggest you hold on and get the help of a reputable breeder. You can learn a lot from them, and i think it'd be useful to you seeing as bulldogs are incredibly difficult to breed and whelp. Im hoping you have the money for the bitches c-section...

The process should not cause the male to bleed.
This is somethng that needs taught to do properly and isnt a figure it out as you go thing.

I suggest you have your vet do the AI and you can oversee him doing it so that you can start learning how to do it without causing trauma to either dog.
