Default New Puppies

for those who do not know, I still occasionally breed AKC Miniature Pinschers.
Though not interested in show, I breed for the terrier type.
Amie, my Blue & Tan delivered 2 little boys on 3/29. One Stag Red and one Black & Tan (at least tan at this point). The Stag came in at 9.3 oz and the Black at 8 3/4 oz. They are both doing well and both have a great set of lungs, especially the Black.
I will try to get pics soon.
My last litter from Jade (the Black & Tan females and male) all have homes. I elected to keep the red female. The Black females went to their homes locally and the male is being picked up today and will be going to his new home in Langley, BC Canada. So I now have a 11 week old Red and 2 13 week old female Papillons to add to the mix. Life is great when you are surrounded by dogs
The next 3 months will be quite an adventure around here with handling the young ones and dealing with the newborns. Oh well, I guess my vacations will still be the same. Trips to the store a couple hour outings.

Not the best pics in the world but here is the first.
Hopefully will be able to get them away from Amie next weigh in and get
better ones.

Well, managed to get a few pics when Amie was not around.
They have each added over a pound in the last 15 days.
The Stag Red weighed in at time of the pic at 1.12 lbs and the
Black & Tan weighed in at 1.9 lbs.
They will definitely be size.

Yes, it was a surprise to me to discover that the kid let the male not the female tri colored Papillon out. Needless to say I was shocked the day after the tail docking and dewclaws were done to discover the male had pink feet.
The 3 females though all appeared to be pure pin, just the male had the feet issue and whole chest turned white. Luckily no ear fringe....

Without a doubt, that is why I have 25 adult dogs, 2 15 week old Papillon pups, 1 13 week old Papillon Miniature Pinscher mix and these 2 little guys not to mention the 11 cats and 7 birds. Never a dull moment in this menagerie.

New ones are not even a month old yet and are all ready fighting over Amies puppy chow. Eating solids and have now come in close to 2.5 lbs already.
Definitely will be full size in the terrier dept. Both have excellent bone structure developing at this point and ear set looks to be standing so far.
