New Miniature Pinscher litter
Well jazz finally did it, granted she waited til she was 4 til she had her first litter and most likely last, but she produced 2 absolutely beautiful Black & Tan/Rust boys and 2 gorgeous Red females. The sire is Taser (Blackhawks KayMans last Taz) is a 12 inch natural standing eared Stag Red. Jazz (Blackhawks All That Jazz) is a 10.5 inch Black & Rust. Hopefully will have pics soon. All are healthy and doing fine. Born 9/10.

Hopefully in the next few days. I actually have 3 new litters with the third being born today. Keleigh my little Chocolate Miniature Pinscher had 4 little black & tans. Three boys and 1 girl. Sired by Taser. Jade my red Miniature Pinscher had 4 on 9/8, all reds. Three boys and 1 little girl. They are Papillon and Miniature Pinschers though they look just like Miniature Pinschers with white feet. It is going to be busy around here soon and for the next 10 to 12 weeks.
What a joy to look forward to 12 little puppies running like little idiots through out the house.....

You might be surprised. They actually are great little dogs. More tolerant than the pins but as both have great energy, they are fun to play with and actually learn very quickly. In addition, they actually look like Miniature pinschers just seem to produce a smaller more petite face and carry generally white on their feet. I even kept one from a previous litter, Bambi and she is the cutest lovingest little dog I have ever seen but also extremely athletic.
I was talking about this to a long time breeder of Miniature Pinschers in the area and discovered that there is another breeder in central Oregon that bred and showed both for many years and she crossed bred them some time back and discovered the same characteristics. She was told by this woman that the mix created extremely lovable dogs that bond very fast with their owners. I can see that now.
The others are purebred Pins, one registered litter one not. Keleigh is not registered but if these are like her litter a year ago, they will be very cute but a little more petite than what I am for.

Little cuties! Wish I could pick 'em up! Makes me think back to when Corky was put in my hands the day I first got him--I carried him around all day. (Bittersweet memories)
I have to say I would pick the mixes 1st (Jade and Quinn's). Hey, they are really cute. Just realized they have the same birthday as my oldest daughter-September 8.

Fortunately after all the years I have spent raising dogs, I still can....though have to admit it is getting harder.
With the 3 litters, there were 6 red and 6 black & tan. Eight males and four females. Surprisingly, the males are the ones that seem to be getting all the attention. Go figure, in all my years it has always been the females that go first.
I guess times are changing, or I am just getting to old to see the changes...

Well I have to admit, though I love these little guys I am getting too old for this. I am scheduling Jade and Keleigh for spay and looking at one of the males for neuter. I will still look at breeding Jazz and Amie but not til next year.
