sarcoptic mange
I breed Australian Shepherds and Texas heelers and when we have a new litter we put them in our puppy nursery away from all other dogs. Well this last time a week after one of our new puppy parents had came and picked up there puppy she called and told me that her puppy had sarcoptic mange we give these puppies weekly baths we deworm them every 2 weeks and we give them there puppy shots at 6 and 9 weeks old.
After getting this info I had all of my adult dogs tested and NONE of them had the mites it seems as if it is starting with the puppies!!
PLEASE HELP !!
another one of the puppies that is still here with me is now showing signes it has mites

There is not age limit when it comes to sarcoptic mange. Any age dog can get it. I would though ask to see the pup to be sure that is what it is.
A dog does not need to be in direct contact with in an infected dog to get this so maybe the new owner has a a neighbor who's dog has it or it may have come in contact with a dog that has it. If your dogs are not infected than most likely it is something it picked up after it got to its new home.
Deworning should be done every 2 weeks starting at 2 weeks of age until 10 weeks. Puppy vaccinations should be all three also given every 2 weeks commencing within a week of puppies no longer nursing.
I am an AKC breeder and have been for many years. I follow these guidelines and use goats milk blended with puppy chow as a primary puppy food for them for approx 3 weeks or until approx 7 or 8 weeks of age and have never had issues with my pups ie: mange etc.

Scarcoptic mange is very very contageous, and the only way to get it is to come into contact with an infected dog. If none of your dogs are infected then the puppy picked it up after leaving your household.
We see ALOT of dogs with Scabies (Scarcoptic mange) come off the Frist Nations Reserves that we rescue from. We try to treat all dogs in the area, but not always possible, as there are alot of wild dogs on the reserves...
but Ivermectin-laced milkbones are often too good to pass up! LOL

It doesn't start with puppies. It had to present prior and most adults may build up immunities to mange until their immune system is compromised. Mange outbreaks in dogs is caused by a sensitivity to, compromised immunity, exposure to other effected dogs and overpopulation.
Sarcoptic mange is a highly contagious infestation of Sarcoptes scabiei canis, a burrowing mite. The canine sarcoptic mite can also infest cats, pigs, horses, sheep and various other species.
Mange can recur if the immune system is compromised such as after steroid treatment or other immune-compromising illness.

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"
