Default Weather for young pups....

I'm new to dog breeding, and perhaps someone could help me.
When puppies are born, they are naked. So, If I have an outdoor
encloser plan, should I bring the mother and pups inside for a while?

Should the mother be kept inside while heavily pregnant?

And, I understand that pregnant females require extra nutrition, what type of food does someone recommend?

Tamara :?

In my opinion, the bitch should be inside during pregnancy and weaning. Its important for socialisation that puppies are brought up in a house environment.

Since you are new to breeding, I would strongly urge you to change your mind and get your dogs neutered.

- What breed are you breeding?
- Do you expect to make profit?
- Do you have a lot of money prepared in case of emergency/complications?
- Are you prepared to lose your bitch if she dies giving birth?
- Are your dogs AKC registred and do you show them?
- How will you ensure they are going to good homes?
- Are you prepared to take every up you breed back if their new owners can't keep them?

Default Breeding a litter

Hello

The fact that you are asking these questions is an indication that you should really leave the breeding of dogs to the people who now how. It is extremely hard work to raise a litter extremely time consuming and very expensive, a number of thing you never dreamed of happening can happen and often do!!!!!

Sorry to burst your bubble.
