Hi,

Does anyone own an alaskan klee kai? I have a 5 year old male and would like to know what type of personality your klee kai has. Is he aggressive towards other dogs and people?

Is this an official dog breed ? I looked up dog breed pictures, and it looks to me like some kind of Malamute or Husky dog...? Does it just have shorter fur than a Husky?
Do you live in a warm or cool area, and how does he seem to be doing with it?
I would be interested to hear about your dog as well if you do decide to share.

The Alaskan Klee Kai is a small version of the Siberian Husky. I believe the breed has been around for about 20-30 years. There are miniature & toy sizes. The breed club website is:

He is a minature alaskan husky and siberian husky mixed. Also has a little american eskimo. He is a smaller dog, weighing about 15 lbs. He looks like a small wolf. Very territorial and aggressive towards other dogs as well as children and people he does not know. Very good with his family, though. Very smart dogs too! There are websites that you can see pics of them. Just type in alaskan klee kai and you should have plenty of sites to view them and read more about them.
