DOGS AS PETS?..I was about 5 when my parents decided to get one
what child doesnt want a puppy!

YOUR FIRST DOG?My parents bought him from a breeder..they wanted a dog and I was an only child so the dog was my christmas gift (on christmas morning) I had no idea..its been 10 years since I had a dog and coincidently wefound the same breeder and thats where my new pup is coming from


3. HOW YOUNG WERE YOU WHEN YOU HAD YOUR FIRST DOG?i believe I was 5

5. DO YOU HAVE PETS OTHER THAN DOGS? WHY OR WHY NOT? I had a fish..but dogs are in a COMPLEtely different category LOL


6. WHY DO YOU WANT DOGS OVER OTHER PETS?Im not sure Ive never been a cat person..EVER..im not even sure Id want another breed other than a shih tzu..just cause my first one was soo good


7. YOUR MOST MEMORABLE DOG INCIDENT/TIME?Every day with my Ceasar was memorable..I never met one single person that didnt fall HOH for him..

Iam currently waiting about a week to go pick up my new shih tzu pup..
Having Ceasar in my life convinced me I wouldnt want any other breed..(I have nothing against any other breeds)
but his temperment, just the way he was loved and he loved us his energy his gentle playful nature he never EVEr barked (only growled when he wanted out)..he was like a lil person

1. WHO/WHAT INFLUENCED YOU THE MOST FOR HAVING DOGS AS PETS?
I don't know how to describe it. My very first memories of childhood revolved around dogs and cats. Dad raised Weirmeraners (sp?) and Mom raised Saimese cats plus a few strays.

2. WHO GAVE YOU YOUR FIRST DOG? HOW DID YOU HAVE YOUR FIRST DOG?
I guess the first one that was actually mine was a puppy I found out in the back 40. It was mangy and half-dead, but my Dad nursed him back to health and he was beautiful.

About 8.

4. YOUR FIRST DOG WAS A ________ ? AND YOU NAMED IT________?
An English collie named Pup-Pup.

5. DO YOU HAVE PETS OTHER THAN DOGS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Not yet. I'm working on building up the farm animals first. Besides that, aren't 6 dogs enough? But I wouldn't mind different kinds of pets. I've had them before.

6. WHY DO YOU WANT DOGS OVER OTHER PETS?
They have all of mankind's better traits with none of the bad traits.

7. YOUR MOST MEMORABLE DOG INCIDENT/TIME?
Having to rush home from work because Suki wouldn't let the paramedics work on my sister. She didn't bite anyone, but she would insert her body between the paramedics and my sister, and growl. My sister was having heart problems (she had a heart attack) and every time she would cry out in pain, Suki would move her body back in place and growl.

8. YOUR MOST EMBARRASSING DOG INCIDENT/TIME?
See number 7 above.

9. ANY DOG RAISING BLOOPERS YOU HAD?
Yes, but Suki realized I didn't know any better and forgave me. :-P Oh, by the way, hydrogen peroxide bleaches dog hair, too. :-D

Which one? They each have endearing qualities.

really granma_ota? how did you come to know this? by accident or did you try to have your dog match your hair color too?:mrgreen:

hmmm, gives me weird ideas now. am wondering how long could the bleach last? ow maybe till the fur falls, no?
