1. WHO/WHAT INFLUENCED YOU THE MOST FOR HAVING
DOGS AS PETS? No one really...Growing up, my brothers & I always had a dog. We just had to have them outside. Now I have my dogs inside & love it.

2. WHO GAVE YOU YOUR FIRST DOG? HOW DID YOU HAVE
YOUR FIRST DOG? The first dog I remember, my parents already had when I was born. The first dog that was officially mine...I found an ad in the paper for free collie/shepherd puppies & my Dad took me to get one.

3. HOW YOUNG WERE YOU WHEN YOU HAD YOUR FIRST DOG? I believe I was about 7 or 8.

4. YOUR FIRST DOG WAS A collie/shepherd mix pup AND YOU NAMED IT Sparkey

5. DO YOU HAVE PETS OTHER THAN DOGS? WHY OR WHY NOT? Yes. I have 2 beta fish, 6 snails & 4 baby mice as well as my 3 Pit Bulls. I am a big tim Pit Bull (& some other dogs) fan, but I am also just an animal lover. I have a hard time passing up any animal. LOL I'm probably getting a kitten soon too.

6. WHY DO YOU WANT DOGS OVER OTHER PETS? Well...I am biased when it come to Pit Bulls. I prefer them over any other animal. I guess other than that, dogs give me a reason to exercise, they're loyal & I think a good sized dog is very fun to play with.

7. YOUR MOST MEMORABLE DOG INCIDENT/TIME? Well...it's very sad. I had a Boxer when I was about 12. My dad had it on a run outside that was close to a big swing. I got the dog in the habbit of going on the swing & cuddling with me. He jumped up there on night to sleep, but his chain got stuck on the swing cables & he choked.

He was an awesome dog. That's one of the biggest reasons why I won't have dogs outside anymore.

8. YOUR MOST EMBARRASSING DOG INCIDENT/TIME? I can't really think of any. If any come to mind, I'll edit this.

9. ANY DOG RAISING BLOOPERS YOU HAD? I had a dog that I thought was trained to stay in the yard...I think I was about 16. I later found out that he was going to the neighbors house & killing the chickens! That was my biggest blooper.

10. PARTICULAR TRAIT/PERSONALITY YOUR DOG HAS THAT YOU LOVE/HATE. Well, my dog Denali is a little over-protective. The biggest reason I don't like it is because of the rep that her breed already has. Other than that, the only thing I don't like is a nervous dog. It drives me crazy.

DOGS AS PETS? Neighbors. I see them having fun with their dogs. Can't blame my Mom for not encouraging me to have one because it meant another work load for her, just in case I miss out on my doggie duties. She was widowed early so...So many things on her mind.

2. WHO GAVE YOU YOUR FIRST DOG? HOW DID YOU HAVE
YOUR FIRST DOG? A family friend's dog gave birth to 8 puppies and was looking for homes for the. I got the fattest one!

3. HOW YOUNG WERE YOU WHEN YOU HAD YOUR FIRST DOG? 11 y.o.

4. YOUR FIRST DOG WAS A ______ ? AND YOU NAMED IT________?

Of unknown breed, mixed probably. Diana... the huntress!

5. DO YOU HAVE PETS OTHER THAN DOGS? WHY OR WHY NOT?
I banned other pets at home for the time being when the cat bit my baby's leg. Our cat is also named Diana (which was my husband's prior to our marriage.) I have to wait a year more, when the baby is old enough to understand that unlike Mommy, pets bite as a reaction to pinching.:mrgreen:

6. WHY DO YOU WANT DOGS OVER OTHER PETS?
They are playful, lovable and very much teachable.

7. YOUR MOST MEMORABLE DOG INCIDENT/TIME?
Tragically, when my first dog died, Diana. Allegedly, she ate a toad and died. One version was that she was bitten by a snake. One version was that she was poisoned by the neighbor who complained about her loud barks.

I was away that night on a sleepover and came home to an already stiff pet. I cried my eyes out. To this day my Mom said I cried louder and grieve more than when my own father died two weeks later.

8. YOUR MOST EMBARRASSING DOG INCIDENT/TIME?
A dog bit my butt!

9. ANY DOG RAISING BLOOPERS YOU HAD?
I fed my pet with a fresh squid and she developed skin allergies that day.

10. PARTICULAR TRAIT/PERSONALITY YOUR DOG HAS THAT YOU LOVE/HATE.
I love it when she sulks when I do not greet her first as I arrive. She goes to a corner and pretends she doesn't know me, refuses to eat...then we kiss and make up!

YOUR FIRST DOG? My mother's bestfriend had this tiny puppy but could not care for a puppy and her disabled son so we took her..

3. HOW YOUNG WERE YOU WHEN YOU HAD YOUR FIRST DOG?

4. YOUR FIRST DOG WAS A cocker spaniel / Chow Chow mix. AND YOU NAMED IT Molly

5. DO YOU HAVE PETS OTHER THAN DOGS? WHY OR WHY NOT? Oh yes lots! because I have a deep long for animals and adopt those we find in need that we can care for.

6. WHY DO YOU WANT DOGS OVER OTHER PETS? because of their love for cuddling, attention, and adoration they have for you. They are responsive to your behavoir towards them and are greatful.

7. YOUR MOST MEMORABLE DOG INCIDENT/TIME? When our two dogs met for the first time, they went straight for playfulness and have been best buddies ever since.

8. YOUR MOST EMBARRASSING DOG INCIDENT/TIME? well not really embarrassing for me...but my daughter screams "STOP SSNIFFIN MY BUTT!" all the time at them lol

it was memorable but not positive... Buddy had attacked me when I was little, and this being quite a long time ago, no questions asked my stepdad took him out to the woods and I never saw him again

No one we just always had dogs growing up.

2. WHO GAVE YOU YOUR FIRST DOG? HOW long DID YOU HAVE

My parents, we had him for 6 years

3. HOW YOUNG WERE YOU WHEN YOU HAD YOUR FIRST DOG?
I was 6 and had him till I was 12

I have two hairless cats, purebreed Spyhnx, and a hamster

6. WHY DO YOU WANT DOGS OVER OTHER PETS?
I don't really I like them and cats about the same. Cats because they do there own thing and clean themselves and don't have to be let out. My dogs becuase they love you and want attention, and they paly with you, and protect you.

When I got my pitt, shes so loveable

We use to foster dogs and I had this pug he was a sissy we took him in to get his puppy shots he screamed when they gave him his shot and whinned the whole time outta the vets, when we got to the counter to pay he had his self so upset and worked up that he passed out and peed on himself, they said his adreniline just shot up so fast and down so fast that he got lite headed lol it was funny after it was over.

Probably my dad, cousin and my friends

My dad gave me one when I was a little.

I was around 3 – 4 years old then.

I don't know. I named him “Rambo”

I also have 3 cats in our house.

I like it when they make me happy when I am lonely.

When I brought him to a free lot. He was so happy.

One time my dog urinates on my feet while we were riding a tricycle.

Nothing much, except for chasing them in our area when they are loose.

I love it when they know that you are lonely. They just go on your lap and cheer you up.

Me too! My dog urinated at my feet while I was reading this cheesy novel

I also think it was the actual dogs. I have always independently loved animals and I never really got that from anyone I know. I just admire dogs, their loyalty, and intuition.

2. WHO GAVE YOU YOUR FIRST DOG? HOW DID YOU HAVE
YOUR FIRST DOG?
My dad gave me my first dog. I don't even know how he got there, though. I was pretty much too young to wonder about that.

3. HOW YOUNG WERE YOU WHEN YOU HAD YOUR FIRST DOG?
I was about 6-8 maybe?

4. YOUR FIRST DOG WAS A_Jack Russell Terrier_AND YOU NAMED IT_Sparky.

I have 2 kittens and a rabbit. I looove dogs but I also love other animals. I think kittens and rabbits are nice to have around and I have always loved them.

6. WHY DO YOU WANT DOGS OVER OTHER PETS?
I deeply admire their loyalty, individuality, and lovingness. I admire all animals, though dogs can be your best friend, your family, your loves. They listen to you when you need it and they know how you feel. In so many ways dogs are more advanced than people. (IMO.)

7. YOUR MOST MEMORABLE DOG INCIDENT/TIME?
There are so many!

8. YOUR MOST EMBARRASSING DOG INCIDENT/TIME?
I really can't think of a dog incident that embarrassed me too much. Just when my dog is playing tricks on me and she won't listen in public sometimes even though she's well trained!

Not that I recall.

10. PARTICULAR TRAIT/PERSONALITY YOUR DOG HAS THAT YOU LOVE/HATE.
I don't 'hate' anything about my dogs. I love how soo sweet and affectionate they are. I love how I can always trust them. I love the bond I have with them. I love how different they are and I respect them for individuals.

Past experience. It has been 23 years since I have had a dog.

A neighbour who was a breeder and needed to retire/move a stud dog.

Yes, Abbey, the Quaker Parakeet and Aidan and Samhain, the African Pygmy Hedgehogs.
