I heard about this awhile back, and I never used to buy Iams food, but now I make sure I don't.

I think it's very well known in most areas of animal defence and protection, but Iams still have a very big commercial influence.
Over here, when you go into most vets, Iams usually have a display stand for their products.

Corporate power, eh?

We have a large place here in PA that sells only purebred dogs. While I was in there on a couple different occasions, I saw potential buyers walk in and walk straight out because they found out the owners fed all of their dogs Iams. I never knew why, now I do.

I never have and NEVER will buy this dog food.

I know, kind of appalling to see the food displayed front and center at the vet's office, no?

Iams is junk food anyway. Not worth the bag it's sold in. This information has been out for almost 2 years, the fact that Iams is junk is well known, since they started to sell in super markets they went down hill.
