Default Funny pet stories

I had a dog brownie who had a passion for chasing rocks or finding them. He would come from the middle of nowhere with a rock wider than him. Heavy rocks! He lived a long 18 years ...and we've never had another dog quite like him. His favorite rocks were in the creek. He would go under and not come up until he found one. Or if you threw one in there, he would not come up until he found the one you threw.

Aww I miss him.

Lol..oh and my current dogs. They like to play fight a lot. Abby (my lab) just runs right underneath brutus (the Great Dane). It cracks everyone up when they are here.

I use to watch Animal Planet alot, and they had a dog on there that was nuts about rocks too! that is so odd, I wonder what it is that makes dogs want to lug around big rocks heh

My funny dog story? My 15 lb Scottie has developed quicker than our 60 lb or so, Heinz dog, and he humps his leg all the time... his head does not even go past our other dogs back while standing on his hind legs LOL

One time I walked outside my house for a minute, and while I was gone my dog jumped up and somehow locked the door (flipped the deadbolt) and locked me out. Good thing I had a friend who lived nearby who I had given a key to!

I could tell any of a number of stories about him, the little stinker.

Today my 16-month-old son pulled an open bag of plastic mesh scrubbies out of one of the kitchen drawers. Because A) a human was holding the bag and B) the bag made crinkly noises, my younger Brittany decided it just had to be something good to eat in the toddler's hand. My son obliges the dog and hands him a pad. The dog actually took it in his mouth and then turned to give me a look like, "What in the world is this? You people sure eat weird things ... ."
