I guess I always thought of this as a little creepy, but mainly unhealthy. I think that you have to let your dog go. It should be the memories that you cherish, not the physical dog.

I think that yes maybe a little creepy and I probably would not do this. What would you do if your kids starting thinking that everytime something died that you could keep it forever is all you had to do is stuff it.

Not something I would do, however I can understand why someone would want to do this. The loss you feel when the inevitable end comes is very hard to cope with and if it makes someone feel better I wouldn't call them for it. Cases have been shown on news programmes where people have kept their loved ones at home after death because they couldn't bear to let them go.

This is creepy to me and I presonally would not do it. Though I could understand would want to, I think there are other way we can remember pets who have passed.

I'd definitely find it creepy. I remember pets with photos and more importantly with actual memories, in the same way I remember departed people.

I wouldn't personally have it done. I think it would be a little creepy. I think having the memories is enough.

I've been thinking about that also. But I think it's really unhealthy. Also, all of my friends and family will think I am such a weirdo. And I will think that I'm a weirdo

GUYS TAKE A LOOK AT THIS!!!

Comfort Pets - pet urn memorial for your beloved dog or cat companions

From the website... "A Comfort Pet is a pet urn or a stuffed animal pet urn in the likeness of your beloved deceased pet. It has a zippered pocket pet urn in it for you to place your pet's cremains (cremated remains)to use as a pet memorial urn. Rather than a hard wooden, plastic or ceramic box for a pet urn , dog urn or cat urn, a Comfort Pet is 'an urn alternative' that is soft and lovable."
