Default How do you get rid of the doggy smell?

I'm nor really complaining about the smell of my dog. I'm used to it and I love it. However, if I have guests over at our house I have to get rid of the doggy smell. My dogs stay inside the house so it's harder. After I clean the house, I usually spray Lysol after. And then I use Air Freshener like Glade Plug-ins. I even light aromatherapy candles.

Can you please tell me your techniques?

Try the new scented oils. They start out as a candle, but melt into oil. They last for around 2.5 hours. They really bring a great smell to the house. I use them all of the time. They work way faster and a lot better than the plug-ins. You can find them at your local Wal-Mart or even in the grocery stores in the air freshner section.

Where is the smell coming from? Is it coming from the dog, or did the dog implant the smell in the furniture? You have to determine where the smell is, and clean that. Aside from that, light an inscent as your company enters the driveway (not the cheap kind).

I'd just use a standard air freshner or candle. You could also use Fabreeze for its in the furniture.

We use Zaflora as a disinfectant to mop the floor where the dogs stay and use Oust as an odour eliminator. We also find it is extremely importnat to wash dogs bedding and blankets regularly and do this at least once a week.
This doesn't get rid of the smells altogether but does help.
