I was browsing online stores a while ago for dog clothes and I happened to look at those cute shoes for dogs. I'm thinking of buying her shoes or boots to match her clothes. I suggest you browse online guys, there are cute items for your pets for as low as $14.00.
I have never put these on my dogs before. I wonder if they make them for Great Danes? I'll have to look around. Do they get used to them real fast? I think it would be a good idea for when the snow starts coming around here.
MuttLuks makes shoes large enough for Great Danes. They even have a handy shoe sizing guide on their website. Great Danes take extra large. I bought them to keep my Dane from chewing her foot. They stay on.
While I am all for pampering my dog, I think manufacturers can take things a little too far.
We need to remember that dogs are animals, and Im not sure if shoes are really doing them any good. We need to keep a sense of balance between pampering our pets and taking away some of their natural characteristics.
I'm happy to put a protective coat on a dog to keep it dry and warm, when walking in bad weather. However, I am not keen on dressing dogs up generally, as they are not toys. You would not consider dressing up a cat!
i think shoes just for the heck of it might be pretty bothersome to our animals -i can however see them for working dogs, dogs with problems with their feet that need protection, etc.
