Red face Spoiled Dogs

Do you know if you are spoiling your dog? There are many signs to know that you are spoiling your dog. It's okay if you spoiled your dog a little bit, but don't let it get to far! When they're to spoiled, it's hard to resist, and stop. One way you can make you're dog less spoiled, is to not give it everything it wants. Only do things that are absolutely neccesary, like feeding it, but don't overfeed it. Overfeeding it can make it overweight, spoiled, and lazy. You can figure out more ways, (on your own), to un-spoil that pooch!

Over the years we have seen many situations where dogs have been literally killed by kindness.

Many dogs have become overeight and unhealthy, which has an impact at some point,

It is not a bad thing to spoil and treat you dog, but you will be doing your pet some good by cutting back on the treats.

Also, I don't know of any dogs that wouldn't like a romp in a park or a yard. Take the time to play with your pooch and not only will he or she drop a few pounds and be healthier, you'll enforce that great bond you have.

We really spoil one of our dogs. We don't feed him too much, but we always lifted him up steps (fear of heights) and now he doesn't go up or down.

I know a woman (my ex aunt...it is a long story why she is my ex aunt) had 2 dogs,Riley and Kaysie.Riley has passed at only 7,but Kaysie is about 9 now.Anyway since they were puppies, she has spoiled them so bad that they do not eat normal dog food or even normal dog treats. She feeds them human food and not nessicarily good. She bought them a full CHOCOLATE bar each, gives them bowls of ice cream...etc.It was bad.Kaysie now has lumps all over her and she isn't being brought to the vet... But the woman never listened to anyone and thinks she knows everything.I pity the poor dog.She wouldn't even let her daughter take Kaysie.

So there is a line between spoiling your dog and slowly killing your dog as the woman I mentioned is doing.
