Which store do you prefer - a big corporate store; a local smaller store. I have always gone to Petsmart. I just recieved a thing in the mail today informing me that there is now a Pet Supermarket available. I went to one of those the last time I was in Atlanta, and I liked the place. So, I am anxious to see how this new place is.

I am not a huge fan of pet stores in general.A new one opened up recently tho and I like it.It is called Petcetera.They don't sell cats/dogs,instead they have an adoption center and feature SPCA animals for adoption.They also have a doggy daycare,a proffessional pet photograph area and a dog groomers.Prices are decent on many things there as well.The animals they do sell are pretty healthy looking too.

I generally like Pet Supplies Plus, although I usually just buy dog food at K-mart when they have a good sale.

I was somewhat disappointed when I when to the new pet store and saw that they do not carry the dog food that I use. So then, I still have to go to Petsmart for dog food.

We always go to Petsmart coz that is where our dogs go to see their vets(Banfield). They have so many stuff in Petsmart, lots of selection too.

I think it all depends on the sore, some corprate stores arnt that great and local onse are better, i find local stores are a bit more careing in terms of whats best for your pet and everything. there is no pet store in town here so i have been buying my dogs food at Shoppers drugs store...or Lawtons Drug store, whatever has best price. if a local store would come around i'd probly go there, i'd much rather suport a local store then a corprate one.

I think in my whole town there is only 1 big corporate pet store, the other 5 or 6 are small locally owned shops. Only a couple of which actually sell cats or dogs, they carry more of the small animals like fish, lizards, etc & one of them actually carries some exotics, like chinchillas and hedgehogs. Well they are considered exotic around here anyway. That's the store we're going to have to visit to get my husband's dream pet; a python... its a specific kind, but I can't remember what it is.

I always go to PetSmart. My dogs love going in there & playing with the other dogs while I shop. I usually buy my dog food at WalMart though.

I don't think that there is a Petsmart around where I live. I have been to Petquarters, and that sounds similar to what petsmart is. I buy most of my dogs needs on-line!
