Default Dog House

How do you house your dog?

Does he have his own residence? How does it look like?

Our dog before stays and sleeps in a chair inside the house. He liked it there because it was cozy and warm.

We live in a condo and don't have a dog house, but I think if you have one in an area that gets cold, then the dog house shouldn't be much larger than the dog, so he/she can stay warm and conserve body heat.

Our dogs live inside with us. So I guess that makes this their dog house.
If we get careless, it can smell like a dog house, especially if it has rained for awhile. LOL

My dogs live inside with me. They are free to move about inside as they like.

I remember a dog that we had before. We just can't keep him inside the house because whenever she's freed, she would keep on running around and play and bite everything and so the place would be a mess. So, she has to have her own cage outside of our house.

Well I just tried to reply but must have messed it up.

Some of mine stay in the house fulltime so this is their shelter and then have crates when we are gone, pet mates and pet taxis and one big wire crate.

The ones that are outside have dog houses this is what they look like.

They are custom built and cost about $180 in materials. They are isulated and very warm in the winter, they have metal around them so the dogs can't chew them up and eat them into nothing, the top can hinge open to clean out bedding, it has a little porch they like to lay on (some like to jump ontop too), but they are extremely heavy to move, it takes 2 people to move them, first you have to get them on the wagon and then move them where you need them.

We have a doggy igloo outside for our dogs. They never have to use it really though (unless during a day when we are at the store). They are always inside with us at night.

My dogs all live inside with me. But when I was growing up, we had all outside dogs. My dad always made the dog houses himself.

We treat our pets like family, so we make them stay indoors with us. Unless they have to potty, then outside for them.

I really like that doghouse design. Is that a patented design or something you came up with yourself? I really like the front porch it has on it. Cool idea. Expensive building materials. I guess they are built to last forever then.

What a nice doghouse design, very unique and it seems the dog is really going to be comfortable in there. BTW, thanks for your replies.
