Does she only chew when you are gone, like at work or shopping?? If so, it may be a loneliness issue. We had a dog that liked to chew things when we left too, and we finally had to get her a companion to get her to stop. We tried everything we could think of to get her to stop, but none of it worked. Once we got another puppy for her to play with, all the chewing stopped. If it's not possible for you to get another dog, maybe get her some chew toys that she can only play with when you are gone? The only other thing I can think of is to put her outside in the yard when you go to work or shopping, if you live in a house; if you live in an apartment, then that wouldn't work for you. |
