Default My dog is hurt

My dog Rex ( a min poodle) was acting up the other night. So I do as I always do and gave him a good swift smack. No I fear I may have injured him greatly. This morning he was puking up blood. No I don't want to take him to the vet because he will ask too many questions, plus it is a lot of money. So what is the best option?
thanks

I would find someone who would love to have this dog and care for it properly
If this offends you, I'm sorry, but you came to this forum wanting advise for helping a dog that is being abused by you and you are unwilling to take this pet to the vet for injuries that may have been inflicted by being "smacked". It's vomiting blood and you are more concerned about the vet asking "too many questions" and it costing to much?
Gee, do you really need this dog? :???:

I would definitely go to the vet, blood is never a good thing. I do think you need to re-evaluate your ownership of this dog, it seems a pet might not be the best idea for you. I also agree that a smack would not cause the dog to bleed. Take your dog to the vet and lie if you have to about the injury, say you don't know. I'm sure the vet will be able to tell anyways. Good luck!
