You should think that way. I had a cat Simon my parents adopted and I cried and acted like he was my brother cause he was, my parents abopted him they signed an adoption form. Not putting it to real life, but in stewart little they just treated him like a human, even though he wears clothes and talks and walks he's still a rat. Anyways I made my cat brother Simon get married to a cat named bootsy so shes my sister-in-law and she had 3 sons and 1 dauther I wonder what happened to them all, but we kept one named blackie and he's my nephew. my husband and i both think of our furry ones as family and ones we don't own but know are our friends. i cried more when our cat died than when my uncle died. (she was unjudgemental like he was) i would think that the people who think we are weird are the odd ones! who doesn't love a furry friend?
