Yes, but only a good quality dogfood, like Pedigree Chum. You also might like to spice it up though, just to hide the god awful taste.

Best quality dog food is probably better than cheap pie filling. My dog has special tin meat from the Vet, with select protein and is expensive, and is better smelling than some pie fillings.

Humans can eat it, because if a baby or small child was to eat some they would be fine

Absolutely. Please be aware you will not die from eating dog food. You may however, get hit by a car if you sit down in the middle of the street to lick yourself.

Read the label and if you still want to eat it you are barking mad. All but the most expensive dog food contain animal derivitives which mean you are not just eating meat but lips cheeks lungs brains genitals and god knows what else. It wouldnt make you ill but the thought of what it contains might .I dont even feed my dog on it!

Absolutely not! While dog and cat food are made from meat and meat by products, they are not fit for human consumption. It may contain feces, chicken feathers, skin, intestines, bone and marrow, blood, spoiled meat, dirt, insects, various animal bodily fluids you wouldn't want to eat and the list goes on.
