At least every year you should visit the vet with your pet! Rabies shots are also free and often dispalyed on t.v. and in the newspaper where and when thy wil offering them to your area! some places even do it for a small fee, but it's well worth it!
My dog just goes once a year for his annual shots and check-up unless something is wrong. But I buy his Hartgard and Advantage from our vet and only get a couple doses of each at a time - so I take Sonny with me to buy these every couple of months because he loves the vet's office and this way he gets to visit without getting shots or something else done to him every time he is there.
