1. German Shepherd2. German Shepherd3. German ShepherdBecause they don't drool, and will protect you, but they do shed quite a bit. They are also loyal, friendly and obedient if trained properly. And you won't look like a "pigs ear" while walking one.Good answer Pamela!!!!

sheepdogs have long hair. they are very smart and great pets buy your best beet is a herding bredd if you want it to be a guard dog. but its a personaly choice. try a doberman they are short haired.

There are many types of large dogs, but so many are great!1. Rotwieler. Great guard dog. Barks very loud if an intruder.2.Golden Labrador. It's different from a retriver. The labrador has shorter hair than the retriver. Very vocal.3. A greyhound. Many say that they are soundless, but my friend has a very vocal one. They are shorthaired and known for their speed.Hope that helps you some.

there are many dogs out there that can be perfect for you. You cant pick the dog the dog must pick you. It has to be love at first sight. Go to any shelter and play with a dog that you think will love you and u will love it... good luck..!

Don't get a dog, get a wolf mix they are much better than a dog. Smarter and trust me they scare the heck out of people.
