Yah, dogs and cats are adorable for their won reason. Cats are good indoor pets and really pretty and gentle. Dogs indoor are need more space, it's much enjoyable if you have enough space for indoor fun. If you like more fun and exercise outside, dogs are better, cats are better for fashion display, they are so lovely.

I am more of a cat person, but I do love my puppy. I had to giggle above because right now, we have 5 cats and the one dog. My cats DO eat plants, they drink from the toilet, and one of them has a name that fits her personality. Her name is Styx (It's the name of a band, but it Greek Mythology, it is the a river in Hades that means "The River of Hate") She is only nice to me if she is in one room of the house. Otherwise she growls.. even if she is the one who approaches me. lol. She's a nut.

I have both, but if I had to choose it would be dogs. Even though you have to take them out, they will protect you at all cost with out thinking twice.

I would definitely have to pick cats because they can protect the house the best, not sure which type will do a better job a lion, or a tiger! The only draw back is the amount of food they need so they will not eat you!
