It keeps wandering in my yard and barking and such. I don't necessarily want to shoot it but maybe try to make it look like an accident. Maybe poison? Any ideas?

you shouldn't harm the dog but just put in to kind words to the dogs owner to keep their dog away from your yard

Yah, If the owner doen't respond, call the animal control or humane society in your area. I know in my area, they come out pretty quick if you need a stray pet picked up... then they can even notify the owner. Maybe then they would get the picture.
