Have the dog cornered in a room or against a fence, it will no longer have the luxery of running away and will be forced to stand its ground and attack. SICKEM SPARKY!!!

Running away is a good thing. Why do so many strangers attack it? Plus, having a "courageous" dog may land you in a lot of trouble and be fatal for the dog, if he/she turns nasty.

you put a dog bone on a fishing pole and make the dog chase it around until it catches it.after that, the training is done.

Your dogs lack of courage is a personality trait and just like people you can't change its personality. I dont' understand why strangers are attacking it but I am sure that if the stranger was attacking you it would jump into action. Even cowardly dogs will protect an owner that is good to them.

I hope you're kidding. If you're having people attempt this you need to give the dog to someone who cares for it! No matter the dog, IF and WHEN they feel threatened they will react-unless they have a dumbass owner who's having his friends run up and scream waving their arms. In which case- then thank you for adding to the bad reps dogs have thanks to ignorant owners as yourself.
