I have springers on each of our mountain bikes, I just recently added an additional arm to mine for a third dog. I run 2 female sibes on my bike, and hubby runs our lead male on his bike. We love the springers, and will get an additional arm for hubby, if we get another pup. Hope this helps! Here are some pics of my pups.

I have absolutely no problem with running 2 dogs at once, just a word of warning, I would definately buy a more sturdy harness, such as the coastal wagon harness, it buckles under the tummy, that way they can't slip out. Also buy a strong coupler instead of the little cloth thing they give you. We got our harnesses, and springer from Dog Harnesses at Dresslers Dog Supplies Store Entrance if you scroll down to the bottom of the page it's the last harness, and the springer is right under it. We just got the coupler at a local pet store, I use the leather couplers with the bigger clasp. Hope this info helps.

This is a coupler, for walking two dogs. Coupler Nylon 18x3/4 inch Black for walking two dogs - Dog Leashes Nylon at Arcata Pet Supplies

I use the leather one then hook it through the springers loop, and hook both clasps to the dogs collar.
