I think pet accessories store, vet clinic or mini dog zoo will work. There's millions of dogs to adopt needing for shelter, local pet stores and clinic will surely help new pet dog owners care them.

I tried one on Ebay before and didn't do so well. I would love to have a business here at home, but since I live in a small area...I am not sure it would do so well here...it's a big gamble that I can't afford to do right now.

Default Yes, I've started my own business

Hi,

Yes, I've thought about starting my own business, and I have. I chose to do this because of the love of my dogs. I own two small breed dogs and found it frustrating when shopping at the major pet supply stores, because more often times than not, I couldn't find things in their size. So, I decided to create a place dedicated to small breeds. Were you asking about starting a business because you are interested? If so, you can send me an email.

The question I hear every day is, HOW can I make a living in the pet (or dog) business.

The number of new 'petrepreneurs' are growing at a staggering rate. It seems a whole bunch of pet fanatics are thinking about it...

Default Depends

CoolHand12,
Really it depends on what type of business you want to start. If you want to create any type of business you really have to be living in a fairly large area or you wont get the greatest amount of customers.
Just remember if you want to create a business you are not just making money but you are spending just as much money than you are making.
And, no I have not thought of creating a type of business but I sell plenty of dogs.
Good Luck,
---Tiana
