Hi u might think this is a bit wierd for my first post but i just wanted to know what is your best and worst type of dog. ok i will start:


I love

my 12 week old pitbull terrier she is so cute and funny. i also love Boxers are best.They are smart and sweet.

i hate

dog owners like paris hilton who owns a chiwuwa that only use their dog as a fashion accessory. i also hate poodles.

If anyone is offended i am sorry i am just saying what i feel.

I agree with Aggy. There are so many people that should never have pets. Lazy dog owners are the worst, b/c they never exercise their dogs, thus they don't get to enjoy life and all it's adventures with each other.

Well if you hate some breeds, that to me is extreem, you may not be an ideal dog owner youself. And pitbulls are usually found on the bottom of the list of favorite dog types. Having pitbulls to some is like the oposite of Paris H., a macho thing and trying to bring out the aggressiveness. Every dog has its own special thing in its breeding and depending what you are looking for, you can home in on it! But there is no such thing as I hate that breed of dog unless you are really not into dogs yourself!

But hey, if someone needed urgent help with a pug I'd totally help them. They may not look as cute, but they still have a heart!

I have a Pit Bull mix and it is a really nice dog. I think some people get so scared by bad stories that they don't give them a chance.

This is a good article that explains why some are mean - but that others are pretty decent. I think it is more the owners, than the dogs, that is the problem.

Also - I don't dislike any 'breed' but there are specific dogs that I don't care for. I prefer big dogs over tiny ones. The little ones always seem to be barking all the time and biting your ankles.

Hate is a stong word and then to hate something is even stronger. If you Hate a breed then you cannot be a true dog lover. All breeds are great dogs, its the owner that make the it desliked by others. Pit Bulls are great animals but are dubbed a bad breed cuz people have trained them to be aggressive and because of their build mixed with the stories people steer away from them.

I'm not offended or anything, but how can you hate poodles? Is it because their owners have them groomed so they look ridiculous and foofy? They are the sweetest and best of dogs, when they're not made to look silly.

I can't say I hate any dog, a dog is a dog. Pits, Rottie's, Dobies these are aggressive looking dogs but its all in how they are raised. These young punk kids that are wimps get a "tough" dog and make he/she aggressive in order to make themselves look/feel tough. A dog does as its told, and is a product of how its raised.


Stereotyping a dog is just as bad as stereotyping a person, guess it just depends on what your actual character is and how YOU grew up.

I really agree. My Pit mix is as smart and as loving as they come. And he can for for me on lobg walks - miles - and he never tires.

Like the article said - they bred them to be aggressive, but many are even therapy dogs. And you need a good dog for that.

I love and respect all breeds of dogs, but I would never own anything but an American Pit Bull Terrier or a Boxer. I love how smart and energetic they are, their goofy and clownish nature makes me laugh. I know they aren't dogs for everyone, but they're the dog for me.
How can you hate Poodles, I think they are an extremely smart breed of dog. I don't think they are prissy at all(if that's why you dislike them), aren't they actually a working breed? (the standard)

Its so great there is alot of people that love bullies on this site.They are miss understood.They are the best family dog.In the olden days they were the nanny dog for the young kids while the farmers were out in the fields.we have 9 in our home and they all came with a bad story.We are alway wondering why dogs trust people after what happens to them.We love all dogs.If any dog needed to be rescue we would take them in and find them a home.No matter the breed.

Hey no one should be offened,because if you liked every kind you would have a love problem.Thats why you should always get your favorite kind because who cares if you pick favorites as long as your dog gets loved and feed then noone should be barking.

I just hate those breeders doing it just for passion and not considering the dog's health. Like on the Guinness record for world's smallest dog, that chihuahua looks sick.

I agree, there are some breeds of dogs that are not my favorite, I would not own them, but that is rational. You should own a breed of dog that fits your lifestyle, kids, how much exercise they need and whatnot. How unfair to hate poodles or chiuhahas because of some Jack*** who is there owner.

I just love pit bulls also, I have one that lives next door. My children love him. Often my husband and I will go over and sit in the back yard while Bubba and my youngest daughter play. They love going round and round my neighbors truck. It is so funny, Bubba will peek under the truck to see where she is. They also play hide and seek, man is he good! I like pomeranian dogs. I dont hate german shepherds but Im afraid when Im near one.
