I've owned several dogs before, even a few toy breeds, however I have never owned a Poodle, Maltese, Pomeranian or Papillion.. So, I'm enlisting in some advice from owners from any of these breeds.

Based on behavior and personality, if I were to buy any two of these toy breeds could they co-exist in the same home? For instance, if I bought a Pomeranian and a Papillion would it be a wise decision? I know certain dogs prefer to be the only dog in the house, do any of these dogs have that particular desire?

Otherwise, if they do not would anyone advise against having any of these toy breeds in the same home? My plan is to introduce these four into a home, not all at once though, however I am worried that there might be some problems with this.. If anyone could help, it'd be greatly appreciated! Thanks! =D
