Default a quick question

I have been "dog sitting" my best friend's dog. i have a pup of my own, they are brothers from the same litter and play CONSTANTLY. They are wild. But tonight I noticed when her dog looked at me.. that one of his eyes looks a little weird. It looks kind of like what a human would look like with a lazy eye. It's not really red or anything but it looks like its a little more closed than the other. The question is.. should I be overly concerned or do you have any idea what could cause it? Could it just have gotten hurt while they were playing or could something be in it? Should I try to wash it out.... any suggestions welcome. I just want to make sure he is okay and take the needed precautions. Thanks.

I would not try to wash the dog's eye out unless you worked for a vet and you have some training in this area. eyes are very special and not to be experimenting with. This is truly a case trip to the vet and let the expert decide if there is a problem or not. since I beleive you said this is your friends dog, you should bring it to there attention and let them handle it.

I called her the first day I noticed it and told her but she is out of state and won't be back for two more days at least. It has been slowly returning to normal and looks WAY better today.. but I will be taking him to my vet tomorrow, since I already have an appt. for my dog to get his shots.

I think that would be a minor injury or something that you should not worry so much about. But also the vet could examine that more and get some advice how to avoid it.
