he would be due his 2nd series of vaccines at 12 weeks so you were either just there or going - in any event you need to have him seen by your vet to determine if there are health issues.

has he been throwing up? have diarrhea? fever?

actually he should not have been around any other people or dogs until all his vaccines were finished at 16 weeks

shots are to be given at 8, 12, & 16 weeks so not sure how 11/2 works in there.

you should never use OTC wormers for your pets. there are numerous very serious parasite conditions that cannot be seen in the stool by the naked eye. some are even difficult to find with a microscope. he needs to go to the vet to have a fecal done, I would bet the ranch that is the culprit.

what exactly are you feeding him?

A good vet can explain your dog's behavior.
Our dog on his 3 months of age is so active and eating a lot.

no wonder he's so skinny & lethargic & I don't mean this instead of going to the vet. he really needs to go.

at 12 weeks he should be getting fed 3 times a day, but since he is in such bad shape I'd give him four. he is a baby & yes he needs to go out every hour or so at this age if you have any hope of getting him housebroken. you don't starve the dog to make it easier for you.

by only feeding him once a day you are risking his glucose levels dropping so low it can cause seizures & death

the reason he poops so much is because the both the foods you are feeding him are garbage & full of fillers which go straight though the dog to your yard. there is very little nutrition in either one.

have you been withholding water also? puppies dehydrate very quickly & can die from this as well.

as for food - nothing from the grocery store or WM. no corn, wheat, soy, by products, artificial dyes or preservatives & lots more. here is info for you to learn about food ingredients so you can make some better choices for this poor puppy.

Dog Feeding Info

do not give him large amounts at a time. your vet can tell you by his weight how much to feed him.

you can add some cooked rice, noodles, pasta, cottage cheese, boiled white or sweet potatos to his food each time - a tablespoon or so each time.

Most certainly! This dog needs to see a vet. If it's too expensive, call around. You'd be surprised that some great vets are reasonable, and others outrageous. The vet that we use is a saint and I never have a bill over $75 - for anything!

I would say you have a possible parasite infection or food allergy. Dog's can hide their pain really well... so perking up around other dogs doesn't mean the dog is ok. If your pup is showing pain... it could be very extreme at this point.

Give your dog some good toys to get busy and entertain.

I seriously doubt a puppy that could clearly be dying would be interested in toys - nor should he be. he needs to use every precious calorie to help build his body weight up for awhile at least
