Default How can I make him stop?

My new puppy is about 3 months old and he has a serious humping problem. He wants to hump everything, be it people, our other dog, or just random things like blankets and stuff on the floor. We push him off, and tell him "stop" and "no" but he just keeps finding something else to hump. He was JUST recently spayed and I believe he'll stop eventually.. but is there anything I can do to make him stop?

Well it may feel good, my male also did that after he was fixed, but as he got older no longer has the urge. But my female sometimes humps him, really funny, my groomer says its a dominate thing. maybe so but my male gets tick off sometime and lets her know! I would let it pass if you can or ask your vet for a opinion. Take some pictures for future reference its funny to me.

He seemed having more fun since he was still a puppy.

I think it will be lessen as he grow old, if he's humping too much on restricted thing, try to spray him with water to stop.

they learn manners and grow out of it usualy. You could try one of those aerosols that make a whoosh sound to counteract it

Yep, I think all dogs do it for a while...some are worse than others. But we had a small chihuahua that was constantly going at it , we had him neutered but he still did it,eventually stopped on his own.
