Exclamation Please Help!

I am trying to decide what a good dog would be for me. I previously had a yellow lab that I absolutly loved, but I just moved to a small house which a small backyard. I am a very active person and would love to take a dog running, walking, swimming, camping, hiking, etc. I live close to neighbors so I would prefer dogs that don't tend to bark as much. I would say no larger than 30lbs but do not like little "toy" dogs either as I like to rough house and play with them also. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! Also I am very willing to get a mix, as well as a pure bred.

me, i have a Shih Tzu. i don't have a problem with him. he doesn't bark that much. he loves to stay on the floor. that's the trick he only knew aside from eating and sleeping. he is so lazy.LOL. but i love him.

actually there are alot of things you should consider when you want to own a dog... size and breed are only some of it... do you have kids? If you do, you should choose dog that isnt agressive...

you should think first before you bring home a pet into you house...

thats why I was wondering why she wouldn't get another lab. they are so well suited to the amount of activity she provides, where a small dog is not appropriate & they are normally good with kids & everybody.
