HI... This may sound like a a really silly remark but i'm sure my Cairn Terrier has four testicals!... I have had him castrated just 3 days ago but this morning when I woke him he got excited to see me and at the base of his I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS! at either side he has what appears to be testicals. They were really hard and drawn up high. Before having him castrated he did of course have two testicals in his scrotum sack but he would also have what appeared to be two further testicals at the base of his I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS! when he was excited!... is this normal?.... please help.

I did not get to see the aftermath of our boys post op.....too much fur around it all. Is it possible that maybe what you are seeing is localised swelling due to the surgury?

I have not myself ever heard of more than two decended testicles, but that does not mean it is not possible. If you still notice this when taking your dog back for the removal of the stitches mention it to the vet, im sure they will be able to remove any concern you have.
