When my 14 year old dog died ,my 13 year old dog went into a deep depression. We adopted a puppy and the 13 yo found a new purpose in life. She decided to teach the puppy everything she knew and totally immersed herself into her self appointed task. The 13 yo has since passed on but we can still see learned behavior the puppy was taught by the 13. Dogs are way more resilient than humans,she will bounce back!
