Question Crate training

I have two x-lg plastic dog crates that I bought several years ago when I got my German Shepherd and Rotty. I am now in the process of getting two Golden puppies, and want to use the same crates to housebreak them. Each pup would have their own crate, but it will be way to big for them to start out in, making housetraining very difficult. I have looked everywhere for a divider panel for the plastic crates, but could only find panels for the wire crates. Can anyone give me an idea on what to use in the crates to make a smaller space for the puppies, so they won't go to the bathroom in the crate? It needs to be moveable, as we all know how quickly puppies grow, and I want to be able to adjust the size of the crate as needed. Thanks for any help that might come my way!

the only thing i can think of is getting a bit of ply wood or thick plastic cut to size for the crates that can then be pushed back further into them as needed. I have otherwise, not seen dividers as such for them.

Yeah plywood divider is enough. Labs grow fast and you can adjust it easily for them. Our neighbor's Dane in real great shape after 6 months, he's almost 9 now and the plywood divider was used on his huge crate.
